Mellowhost always tries to ensure the best security hardened server. One of the common attack usually done by the attackers is ping flooding the server. To protect this, we have a limit in pinging for each of our server. We allow highest 30 Pings per 60 seconds. If you try to ping more than 30 pings per 60 seconds, it will automatically drop them and show timed out. This measurement is done to prevent the ICMP flood and doesn't effect any of the server performance.
